Workshops
AFOCAL offers in-person and online professional development programs designed to build your systems thinking toolkit.
Ideal for people wanting to strengthen their leadership capability while connecting with other leaders interested in a systems thinking perspective.
COMMUNITY OF PRACTICE
Theory meets practice in our five-month systems thinking Community of Practice program. Ten organisations each explore a current, real-world complex problem or strategic question within their own context. Our program includes online learning and practice, including:
- Facilitated presentations and discussions
- Peer-to-peer small group learning
- One-on-one coaching
- Self-directed reflection and application
At the end of the program, leaders will be able to use systems thinking frameworks to build their systems perspective and practice resilience-based stewardship in their organisation.
Current and Upcoming Program Dates:
July – November 2026 (FULL)*
March – July 2027 (OPEN FOR REGISTRATION)
*Our 2026 Community of Practice program is supported by Creative Australia.
